FC Barcelona
Barcelona is dominating the football as no other team in the recent years. However, much was written about them getting weaker since the departure of their star trainer Pep Guardiola,but Tito Vilanova already proved he got skills,by winning the title in Spain,but for a big team like Barcelona that's not enough and now the team have to show strenght and patience in this 2 leg semi final against the German team.
FC Bayern München
Bayern München is on its way to play the perfect season. In record time it became Bundesliga champion already and also reached the cup final. Beating Barcelona in the semifinal would mean that they are only two games away from a title triple that will bring this team to a shining place in football annals.
Sergio Busquets and Javi Martínez
Sergio Busquets and Javi Martínez are two very similar players, both responsible for their teams' play and the present and future of the Spanish national squad. Busquets is probably the main reason that the Bayern midfielder cannot play his way into Spain's World Cup-winning side. Maybe, once Xabi Alonso retires from international football, they'll play together at the heart of La Roja's midfield.
Alexis more likely to play than Villa
When Tito Vilanova made his final change against Levante, and David Villa saw that he was staying on the pitch, and the one being substituted by Alexis was Tello, he could not hide a gesture of disappointment, raising his hands to his head, for he realised that his chances of playing in Munich would be reduced if he played through the whole game on Saturday.As if that were not enough, Villa did not have a very good game, whereas Alexis, in the quarter of an hour that he was on the field, provided the assist to Cesc for the only goal of the match.
Leo Messi
At this stage of the game, it is an open secret that Leo Messi will start against Bayern. The Argentine has been named in Barça's 21-man squad, although he has yet to receive the green light from the medical team. This is nothing unusual, though, and should not be taken as an indication that his recovery is not on track, as the Catalan club does not tend to issue medical all-clears until a few hours before matches.The striking sensation has been wrapped in cotton wool following his 30-minute play against PSG two weeks ago, when he pulled up after feeling something in his hamstring in just his second sprint since joining the fray. Abidal
The Frenchman lasted the full 90 minutes against Levante and was one of his side's best players. Showing speed, confidence and sound tactical awareness, he was also reliable and didn't make a single major mistake. The coaching staff will need to make a decision at the end of the season on whether to renew his contract. Abidal will not have played the percentage of games stipulated in his contract for it to be renewed automatically and the club has left this decision and the one of including him in the first team against Bayern up to Tito Vilanova.Carles Puyol

Daca ar reusi o victorie impotriva Barcelonei în semifinale ar însemna că aceasta este doar la două jocuri distanță de a realiza tripla,campuionat-cupa UCL care va aduce această echipă pe un loc strălucitor în analele fotbalului.

Alexis mai mari sanse de a juca fata de Villa
Când Tito Vilanova a făcut ultima schimbarea a meciului împotriva celor de la Levante, și David Villa a văzut că nu el este schimbat, iar cel înlocuit de Alexis a fost Tello, el nu a putut ascunde un gest de dezamăgire, ridicând mâinile la cap, pentru ca si-a dat seama că șansele sale de a juca în Munchen s-au redus.
In cazul în care asta nu au fost suficient, Villa nu a avut un joc foarte bun, în timp ce Alexis, în sfert de oră, cat a fost pe teren, a dat un asist lui Cesc pentru singurul gol al meciului.
Leo Messi
În această etapă a a sferturilor, titularizarea lui Messi impotriva lui Bayern nu este momentan o certitudine. Argentinianul a fost ales cel de-al 21-lea om al Barçei , deși el nu a primit încă undă verde de la echipa medicală. Acest lucru nu este nimic neobișnuit, și nu ar trebui să fie luat ca un indiciu că recuperarea lui nu este pe drumul cel bun, deoarece clubul catalan nu are tendința de a emite verdicte medicale cu cateva ore inainte de meciuri.
O situatie asemanatoare a fost acum 2 saptamani inaintea meciului cu PSG cand Messi a fost menajat,pentru a nu risca o accidentare mai grava,el a fortat si a jucat ultimele 30 de minute din meci,facandu-si simtita prezenta.Chiar daca nu va fi 100% apt pentru prima etapă împotriva Bayernului, el va fi într-o formă mai bună decât împotriva PSG-ului.
Abidal
Francezul a jucat toate cele 90 de minute împotriva celor de la Levante și a fost unul dintre cei mai buni jucători de pe teren. Interventii bune, viteza, incredere si pozitionare tactica foarte buna, nefacand nici o greșeală majoră. Antrenorul si conducerea va trebui să ia o decizie pana la sfârșitul sezonului dacă o sa-i reînnoiască contractul. Abidal nu a jucat procentul de jocuri stipulate în contract ,pentru ca acesta sa fie reînnoit în mod automat, iar clubul a lăsat acesta decizie cat si cea a folosirii lui in meciul cu Bayern la latitudinea lui Tito Vilanova.
Carles Puyol
Vorbind la o conferință de presă mai devreme, vineri, Jordi Roura a confirmat că Carles Puyol va lipsi cu siguranta marți la München și a explicat că atât căpitanul cat si Javier Mascherano va fi puțin probabil să fie apti pentru partida retur de la Camp Nou.
Cu Adriano suspendat pentru prima etapă, FC Barcelona are probleme mari in centrul apărarii înaintea meciului de marți.
Mark Van Bommel, care a jucat pentru ambele echipe a spus "Bayern-Barcelona Acest meci ar trebui să fie sfârșitul. Cine câștigă departajarea, va sfârși prin a fi noul campion"
